You have a broad range of graphic design skills, solid technical aptitude, and an eagerness to contribute and grow. You have a can-do attitude, a customer-service approach, and enjoy working collaboratively.
About the Role
The Operations Design Associate is an integral part of the organization's Engagement Team, reporting to the Sr. Director, Business Operations. The position helps to maintain the organization's visual brand identity, responsible for executing graphic design work related to event promotion, engagement initiatives, digital campaigns, donor and Board materials, social media, and more. The ideal candidate will possess unbridled creativity, energy and enthusiasm for our cause.
Essential Job Duties: Execute the needs including but not limited to event invitations, social media assets, flyers, ads, newsletters, slideshow presentations, photo albums, and other creative pieces, in collaboration with the FIDF Engagement Team Customize content and design using provided templates or work to create original content and designs. Deliver innovative, thoughtful, creative, and sophisticated layouts and designs for both print and digital that represents the organization's brand Occasionally touch up photos Thoroughly grasp and execute the organization's brand style A comfort level creating infographics, charts, and other visual ways to present information. Stay on the pulse of design trends; regularly evolve and innovate designs Ensure projects are completed with high quality and on schedule Collect and organize all design files and content, cataloguing work in a user-friendly manner. Input projects into project management system, track progress, timelines, and deadlines, and traffic work through a workflow process Liaise with outside vendors on printing and production Develop close working relationships with the FIDF engagement team. Learn our repertoire of videos and materials. Perform other duties as requested. Educational Requirements
Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Skills and/or Experience Required
A minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience in and knowledge of print and digital design Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with impeccable attention to detail. Highly organized, detailed-oriented, and self-motivated with excellent time management skills. Ability to work independently while also collaborating with a team Energetic, creative, strong work ethic Highly pleasant demeanor and interpersonal skills Exemplary written and verbal communication skills Flexibility to respond to feedback Responsive communication and interpersonal skills Computer skills:
Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, Planner, experience with mass email communication systems such as Constant Contact and Stripo, InDesign, Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator, basic design skills in Adobe Suite, XD and the entire Adobe Creative Suite.
