About ACRYLICS
ACRYLICS is a community-driven platform and marketplace designed for nail artists, beauty entrepreneurs, and creatives. Our quarterly events bring together industry professionals, creators, and community members for engaging discussions, workshops, and networking opportunities.
We are seeking a Part-Time Community Manager to serve as the primary host and facilitator for these events. This role is ideal for someone who is enthusiastic, personable, and comfortable leading discussions and workshops. The Community Manager will work closely with the Arts & Events Coordinator and the ACRYLICS Operations Team to ensure each event is well-executed and fosters a welcoming, engaging experience for all attendees.
Key Responsibilities
Event Hosting & Facilitation
Act as the on-site and virtual host for ACRYLICS quarterly events, setting the tone and engaging attendees.
Lead creative workshops, panel discussions, and community-driven activities.
Ensure featured program guests feel supported, prepared, and engaged.
Community Engagement
Foster an inclusive, welcoming environment that encourages participation.
Actively engage with community members before, during, and after events.
Serve as a brand ambassador, ensuring the ACRYLICS mission is reflected in every interaction.
Event Coordination & Execution
Collaborate with the Arts & Events Coordinator to support event logistics and programming.
Assist with event flow, troubleshooting, and on-site management.
Provide real-time support to ensure a seamless experience for both in-person and virtual attendees.
Qualifications
Strong public speaking and facilitation skills, with experience hosting events or workshops.
Ability to engage diverse audiences, build rapport, and foster a sense of community.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and adapt in real time.
Experience and interest in the beauty, fashion, or creative industries is a plus.
Familiarity with event management tools, virtual event platforms, and community engagement strategies is preferred.
