Are you a talented B2B editor with a strong foundation in journalism? Do you have the editorial expertise and business acumen to craft compelling, high-quality content tailored for professional audiences? We are seeking an experienced freelance B2B editor who can help shape and elevate our B2B content to drive engagement, educate professionals, and reflect our client brands' voices.


Responsibilities

  • Edit, proofread, and refine B2B articles, whitepapers, case studies, eBooks, newsletters, and other content for clarity, tone, accuracy, and consistency.
  • Ensure all content aligns with the target audience, B2B standards, industry trends, and client objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and/or freelance writers to guide story development and provide constructive feedback for revisions.
  • Research and apply insights on market trends, industry-specific topics, and content best practices to create actionable editorial strategies.
  • Manage content workflows, prioritize assignments, and meet project deadlines efficiently.
  • Maintain editorial quality standards, including accurate sourcing, grammar, punctuation, and adherence to AP Style (or other specified guidelines).


Qualifications

  • Proven experience editing B2B content, with examples of editorial work in sectors such as technology, finance, healthcare, or professional services.
  • Background in journalism with strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills, honed by hands-on newsroom, publishing, or agency experience.
  • Ability to translate complex business concepts into clear, engaging content tailored to professional audiences.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with demonstrated expertise in editing for tone and maintaining brand voice.
  • Strong time management skills, comfortable juggling multiple priorities and deadlines.


Requirements

  • Experience: 3+ years of editing experience (B2B preferred).
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Journalism, English, Communications, or a related field.
