Schedule: 1st Shift Mon-Fri 8AM-5PM Flexible on start and end time

3D Designer Requirements and Qualifications:
  1. Excellent command of AutoCAD Inventor.
  2. Utilization and support of the integration of our custom manufacturing softwareJobBOSS.
  3. Support toward the achievement of our manufacturing, quality, safety, production, and operating goals.
  4. Able to meet customers expectations promptly and accurately and impress them with your creative problem-solving abilities.
  5. Strong hands-on mechanical aptitude & development of bulk material handling equipment and components engineering.
  6. Strong desire to solve issues; possess great problem-solving skills and ability to persist.
  7. Strong organizational, analytical and communication skills along with an ability to thrive in a performance-based environment.
  8. Knowledge of grain, food, chemical aggregate, and other customer industries processes.
  9. Your work ethic and dedication.
  10. Your ability to continuously develop your skills, your department and your Company, Your participation in training.
  11. Contribution to customers, fellow-employee and sister company associate satisfaction and overall positive, forward-moving workplace environment.

  13. Sitting at a computer workstation most of day with some trips to the production area and customer sites if required.
3D Designer Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Create accurate and functional fabrication layouts, elevation and/or section view 3D CAD drawings of conveyor systems and related steel structures, platforms, and conveyor framework for customer approval and manufacturing.
  2. Occasionally travels to project site to measure conveyors/structures/buildings, diagnose, and solve problems, and interface with the customer.
  3. Command of estimating or engineering capacity within a conveyor-designing environment.
  4. Support implementation of quality improvement initiatives and their integration with AutoCAD Inventor.
  5. Review and check other designers drawings before submitting to customer.
  6. Expand and maintain 3D drawing library of standard fabricated parts.
  7. Assist with flat pattern layout and nesting for waterjet and laser programs.
