Overview
Our client, Octane AI, is looking for a Growth Marketing Manager to spearhead their marketing initiatives with a laser focus on ROI, revenue growth, and customer acquisition. This role involves close collaboration with Sales, Partnerships, Product, and other teams to ensure every campaign—whether it’s fresh multimedia content or a high-impact industry event—directly furthers Octane AI’s revenue goals. You’ll team up closely with their Partnerships Lead to bolster our partner activities across North America.
Key Responsibilities
- Define & Execute Marketing Strategy: Develop and lead a multi-channel marketing plan that heightens brand visibility, fuels lead generation, and drives customer acquisition—all with a keen focus on measurable ROI.
- Content & Media Creation: Restart, refine, and launch new original content (video, audio, text) for both Octane AI and our Ecommerce Magazine. Oversee the full lifecycle from ideation and research to production, distribution, and performance tracking.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Sales, Product, Partnerships, and Customer Success to design and deliver high-performing go-to-market strategies. Coordinate product releases and ensure timely communication of updates to leads, prospects, and existing clients.
- Partnerships & Events: Support and work alongside the Partnerships Lead to cultivate key relationships and attend focused industry events, especially in the United States. Each event should foster returns in the form of qualified leads and strategic partnerships.
- Thought Leadership & Brand Positioning: Craft compelling messaging and positioning for Octane AI. Amplify our authority in the ecommerce space, including strategic work with our leadership team’s personal brand presence (e.g., the founders’ accounts).
- Social Listening & Distribution: Direct the distribution strategy for product updates, feature launches, case studies, and more across social channels—driving maximum reach and engagement.
- ROI & Resource Management: Manage the marketing budget and allocate resources for optimal returns. Track key metrics, analyze campaign performance, and iterate based on data-driven insights.
- Market Research & Customer Insights: Conduct market research, study the competition, and gather customer feedback to inform product roadmaps and overall company strategy.
Time & Focus Allocation
- 40% – Marketing, Content, Media, & Community: Creating and distributing engaging content (case studies, podcasts, videos, and blogs) while developing an active online community around Octane AI. Find ways to disseminate and spread the word about product updates, success stories, etc.
- 30% – Partnerships, Events, & Collaborations: Driving partnerships and co-marketing with Octane AI customers, agencies and tech providers, plus attending/speaking at/hosting events, webinars, and conferences (virtual and in person)
- 20% – Data and Conversion Optimization: Tracking metrics, refining funnels, analyzing campaigns, and using insights to optimize marketing, conversions and campaigns
- 10% – Alignment Across Teams: Collaborating with Sales, Product, and Customer Success to ensure cohesive execution of go-to-market strategies and product launches.

Metrics of Success
- Revenue Growth: Overall increase in revenue (both dollar amount and percentage)
- Lead Generation: Volume and quality of qualified leads generated through owned or collaborative channels
- ROI: Measurable returns on marketing investments, monitored against revenue contributions
- Case Studies & Campaigns: Creation and performance of high-quality campaigns, from podcasts to social media drives
What They’re Looking For
- Several Years of Marketing & Partnerships Experience: Demonstrated ability to build and execute strategic marketing initiatives that drive revenue and develop strong partnership ecosystems.
- Ecommerce Passion & Expertise: Prior marketing and/or partnerships experience in ecommerce—either at an ecommerce brand or a SaaS company serving ecommerce clients.
- Self-Motivation & Remote Collaboration: Thrives in an all-remote team environment, managing tasks independently and maintaining strong cross-functional communication. Candidate must be based in the United States to cover U.S. events.
- Data & Metrics Proficiency: Skilled at tracking marketing performance metrics to evaluate and refine campaign strategy.
- People-Centric Approach: Enjoys building relationships, running webinars, attending events, and acting as an enthusiastic advocate for Octane AI.
- Partnership Growth Mindset: Eager to expand collaborations with agencies and tech partners, actively supporting and evolving our partner ecosystem.
