The Production Animation Coordinator will offer department-wide support while continuing to assist the EVP Physical Production Paramount Animation & Nick Movies at Paramount Pictures. The coordinator will be responsible for organizing and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the animation production process while balancing administrative tasks and larger projects.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify areas within the department for continuous process improvement; work with department members to implement the changes.
- Creating and maintaining production schedules to ensure deadlines are met.
- Serving as a liaison between animation and other departments, ensuring information is shared effectively across teams.
- Assisting with allocation of resources, including animators, equipment, and materials, making sure everyone has what they need to complete their tasks.
- Identifying and addressing any issues or bottlenecks in the production pipeline, working to resolve delays or challenges as they arise.
- Ensuring the animation meets the production standards.
- Answer phones, maintain call log, and initiate conference calls.
- Manage a busy calendar; coordinate all external and internal executive meetings, resolving conflicts on the calendar and communicating movement/changes.
- Schedule and prepare for meetings by briefing attendees and providing relevant materials.
- Plan and make all travel arrangements for business trips.
- Prepare monthly travel and expense reports.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 1+ year professional experience as an Executive Assistant or Production Coordinator.
- Feature Animation experience is a plus.
- Proficient in Outlook and Microsoft Suite.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, anticipatory, and written communication skills.
- Able to work independently and juggle multiple projects at once.
- Work effectively with time constraints; able to adjust direction with changing work situations.
- Able to work successfully in a team environment accommodating various working styles.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Hiring Salary Range: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00. The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program, and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
