Job Summary: Are you ready to work with world-famous wax figures and contribute to bringing the magic to life? As part of our Studio Team, you'll play a key role in maintaining our wax figures, ensuring their perfection through repairs, styling, painting, and costume upkeep. You’ll also be a brand ambassador, helping create unforgettable guest experiences and ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.

Qualifications & Experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform wax figure maintenance to Madame Tussauds’ world-class standards, meeting key quality targets and deadlines.
• Repair and restore figures, from sculptural wax work to oil & acrylic painting, hair styling, and costume care.
• Assess, repair, or replace damaged figures, ensuring all work follows MT protocols.
• Relocate, position, and style figures to ensure they shine with the best lighting and styling.
• Assist with offsite PR events, ensuring figures are on-brand and up to our high standards.
• Adhere to Health & Safety protocols and maintain a clean studio environment.
• Engage with guests and represent the studio when needed, helping create amazing experiences.
• Collaborate with a small, dynamic team while also being self-driven to manage individual tasks.

Health & Safety: We prioritize safety! You’ll be responsible for the wellbeing of yourself, your colleagues, and our guests. Follow safe working practices, report incidents when necessary, and collaborate in investigations as needed.

Education and Experience:

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience in painting, sculpting, or special effects makeup is a plus!
• Specialized knowledge of oil and acrylic painting techniques is ideal.
• Degree or equivalent training in fine arts or technical arts is beneficial.

Environmental Factors:

• Work in diverse conditions, from indoor settings to outdoor events.
• Exposure to varying temperatures, sounds, and lighting conditions.

Travel Requirements:

• Occasional local or domestic travel for events and figure placements.
