This Graduate Assistant in Athletics Communication will assist in the publicity and promotion of Bryant University’s 25-sport NCAA Division I athletics program.

GA compensation includes a full tuition waiver, housing, and a $1,500.00 stipend per semester starting August 1. Graduate School is a 2-year part-time program beginning August 2025 through August 2027.

Accountabilities:

1. Writing and editing press releases, game stories, game programs, and media guides.
2. Compiling statistics and reporting results to appropriate media outlets.
3. Assisting in home event management.
4. Assisting in the maintenance of the athletics website.
5. Preparing reports for the America East Conference and NCAA.

This position requires availability on nights, weekends, and some travel.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Communication or English. Candidates must have demonstrated experience in a sports information office, either as a student assistant or intern, and have excellent written and oral communication skills. Familiarity with Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, and stat crew statistical preferred.
