POSITION PURPOSE:
To supervise a design/estimator department in a large Timberlake Service Center by supervising the design/estimators. This supervisor will coordinate the design and pricing activities while providing administrative support for the sales representative, regional sales manager, field support and customers.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This job position supervises the Design Estimators for the builder service center.

Experience
- Experience in kitchen layout and design. 20/20 experience required.
Skills
- Knowledge of the selling process and bid preparation.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.

- Technical aptitude and ability to understand the construction business.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Effective organization skills.
- Must be proficient in Excel.
Education
- BS degree in design, business or related field; relevant experience may be substituted for a formal education.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Demonstrate the CITE principles.
- Function as a team player with sales and operations to ensure effective field execution and customer satisfaction by effectively performing the designer and pricing process.
- Manage the incoming workload to support customer satisfaction.
- Evaluate the work of the sales representative to ensure excellent service to the customer.
- Monitor the performance of the designer/estimators against their goals.
- Be instrumental in structuring the proper training programs to develop skills.
- Participate in the recruitment, interviewing, hiring, and training of personnel.
- Monitor variance report and work with the RSM/OSM to eliminate sales variances.
- Build effective business relationships with customer purchasing managers.
SCOPE & EXPECTATIONS:
Language Skills:
- Ability to read and interpret common business documents including business reports, charts, graphs, and diagrams. Ability to listen and communicate effectively with customers/clients in an effort to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers/clients, members of the business community, and the public.
Reasoning Ability:
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Reports to: Regional Sales Manager/Operations Services Manager

Physical Demands:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, talk, or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands. The employee is occasionally required to sit. Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds.
Working Conditions:
- Typical office environment. Hours will vary as necessitated by business. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required.
