About This Opportunity:
As our Graphic Designer, you’ll create engaging, on-brand visuals across a wide range of mediums, including advertising, web, print collateral, event experiences, sales presentations, video, social media, and more. This role calls for a sharp eye for detail, understanding of design principles, and the ability to turn ideas into compelling designs that elevate the Valenz brand’s visual identity.
Things You’ll Do Here:
- Create visually engaging designs for a variety of formats, including digital and print advertising, social media, web graphics, and sales presentations.
- Develop custom designs for event experiences, such as signage, booth designs, and promotional materials.
- Design and format marketing collateral, including brochures, flyers, and sales presentations.
- Ensure all designs are on-brand and maintain a consistent visual identity across all platforms and materials.
- Identify opportunities to elevate our brand’s visual identity, sharing design recommendations that will help us stand out in our industry.
- Innovate by using the latest design concepts and tools, including AI.
- Create assets for video production, including graphics, titles, and overlays.
- Develop motion graphics and animations for use in digital campaigns and social media.
- Design compelling visuals for social media campaigns, including organic posts and paid advertising.
- Create website graphics and support web design initiatives.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including leadership, marketing, sales, and product to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality designs.
- Present design concepts and ideas to stakeholders and incorporate feedback effectively.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of all design assets.
- Maintain organized files and documentation for easy collaboration and handoff.
What You’ll Bring to the Team:
- Three (3) or more years of experience as a Graphic Designer, preferably in an in-house or agency setting.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, Figma, and other design or motion graphic software.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects, including digital, print, and motion graphics.
- Understanding of design principles, typography, and color theory.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual arts, or a related field.
- Experience in creating UX/UI designs for web and mobile platforms.
- Experience in the healthcare or health insurance industries.
- Proficiency in HubSpot, WordPress, and related tools.
- Knowledge of video production.
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS or basic web development concepts.
- Work Environment: You’ll need a quiet workspace that is free from distractions.
- Technology: Reliable internet connection—if you can use streaming services, you’re good to go!
- Security: Adherence to company security protocols, including the use of VPNs, secure passwords, and company-approved devices/software.
- Location: You must be US-based, in a location where you can work effectively and comply with company policies such as HIPAA.
