The Library Communications Specialist answers phone calls and/or live chat contacts from patrons of public libraries across North America. We essentially act as the Information Desk for the library, efficiently handling phone-based patron inquiries from the ease and comfort of your home.

This position requires:

  • Excellent use of the English language,
  • Bi-lingual (Spanish) highly preferred - $1 additional per hour,
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills,
  • At least 6 months phone-based customer service experience,
  • Excellent keyboarding and computer skills,
  • At least two years post high school education is highly desired,
  • Must have reliable, high-speed internet connection.

Schedules:

  • Full-time, evenings: 10am to 6pm EST or 11am to 7pm EST on 4 weekdays; Must be able to work Saturdays.
  • Part-time; Must include evenings & Saturdays.
  • All positions must be available to work the initial 5-week training schedule: MON-FRI 8:30AM-5:00PM.

This is a remote Call Center based position.
