Role Overview:

Tavant is seeking an accomplished Practice Director - Media to lead our strategic initiatives in the Media domain. This senior leadership role requires a visionary with deep industry knowledge and a proven ability to develop and execute go-to-market strategies in a technology services company. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with sales and delivery teams to define and build Media offerings, build a robust pipeline, grow profitable revenue, and strengthen executive relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Leadership:
    Develop and execute a comprehensive go-to-market strategy for the Media practice, focusing on innovation and relevant growth opportunities.
    Build a strong vision for Tavant’s presence in the Media & Entertainment domain, leveraging trends in broadcast, streaming, advertising, and parks & resorts.
  2. Business Development:
    Work closely with the sales team to identify opportunities, build a robust sales pipeline, and achieve revenue growth targets.
    Engage in strategic account planning and management to establish long-term partnerships with key clients.
    Establish and track KPIs to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
  3. Thought Leadership:
    Monitor industry trends and market dynamics to identify opportunities for differentiation and growth.
    Represent Tavant in industry forums, conferences, and events, showcasing expertise in the Media domain.
    Drive thought leadership by contributing to white papers, blogs, and speaking engagements.
  4. Executive Relationship Management:
    Build and nurture relationships with C-level executives and key decision-makers within client organizations.
    Serve as a trusted advisor, providing strategic guidance to clients on their digital transformation journeys.

Qualifications:

  1. Experience:
    12+ years of experience in the Media domain, including broadcast, streaming, advertising, or parks.
    Proven track record in a technology services company leading go-to-market strategy and business development.
  2. Leadership:
    Strong ability to lead, influence, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
    Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with experience managing executive relationships.
  3. Location:
    Based in the US, preferably in New York or San Francisco, with the ability to travel as needed.
  4. Education:
    Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) is a plus.
