HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT:
This role typically reports into the Director of Visual Merchandising and is based in our Atlanta Buckhead office in our on-site work environment.

Communication to Stores – 55%

  • Create visual merchandising seasonal directives, training tools & merchandising updates for the field for Baby/Toddler (NB-5T) for ALL retail store formats (Carter’s, OK, SBS & Cobrand)
  • Prepare all communication for print distribution and for upload to company store intranet.
  • Partner with store operations to elevate visual communication to the field.
  • Produce, edit and post specialized training videos to the company store intranet.
  • Design how-to instructional materials to provide insight and new direction to stores.
  • Participate in communication of action relevant changes based on outcome of weekly business review meetings with the buying team.
  • Manage Visual Standards Manual (VSM) updates and ensure updates are posted to company store intranet within a timely manner.
  • Understand and Produce window communications and loyal programs changes/updates and upload to company store intranet.
  • Coordinate New Store Opening calendar timeline; ensure all information is collected and organized to support new stores.

Process Management – 30%

  • Maintain hard and soft copy library of visual merchandising assets and communication documents.
  • Ensure store intranet is current and contains all relevant information to visual merchandising. Archive and purge as necessary.
  • Translate pertinent DTC Calendar milestones and dates and establish visual timeline to align.
  • Prepare all store format templates for visual communications to the field.
  • Organize Visual calendar with Store Operations for workflow planning and coordinate with Print Center when needed for print production.
  • Update and maintain store distribution, steering committee, and other pertinent distribution lists.
  • Coordinate New Store Opening calendar timeline; ensure all information is collected and organized to support new stores.
  • Partner with Operations for New Store Communication binders and store kits.
  • Manage merchandise sample process; ordering, processing, and packing up previous season samples no longer needed.
  • Photograph and touch up all in-store set-ups and displays for communication.

Visual Merchandising– 15%

  • Operate as a team member within the Visual Merchandising & Marketing department, encouraging team unity, cross-discipline communications opportunities and consistency of brand communication and positioning.
  • Assist with floor sets in lab environment and participate in store blitzes and tests as needed.
  • Photograph and touch up all in-store set-ups and displays for communication.

WE’D LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF:
Must have:

  • Strong visual merchandising background or retail-based store position supporting floor set changes.
  • Attention to detail critical for store execution.
  • Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator.
  • Strong working knowledge of Adobe In-Design.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Multi-task, self-motivated and deadline oriented with high level of accuracy.

Preferred skills and experience:

  • Associates Degree or related experience is required.
  • Graphic Design or Art degree preferred.
  • 2-3 years of experience.
  • Retail Store experience preferred.
