As a member of the Visual Merchandising Special Projects team you will be crafting concepts and experiences for customer-centric, fast paced retail environments at scale. You will be a part of a specialized team focused on bringing innovation and evolving the customer & product experiences in retail stores worldwide. You will work as a Visual Merchandising design conduit across teams with multi-disciplinary designers and partners developing inspiring multimodal experiences based around Apple’s products, services, and spaces.
Description
This position requires the ability to conceive and develop new product presentations and curated experiences with a customer-centric, inclusive design approach, tailored to meet objectives for Apple products and Retail experiences.
- Evolve retail experiences, tools, and physical environments based on Apple’s roadmap for products, services, and technologies.
- Create and establish retail visual language and build a library of visualizations.
- Design holistic experiences from conception to completion across multiple touch points.
- Act as the VM design conduit partnering closely with the broader VM team and across Apple.
- Produce design development and/or intent packages for production and fabrication.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, continuously seeking innovative ways to enhance the customer experience.
Minimum Qualifications
- 7+ years of Design or Visual Merchandising experience
- Proficiency with 3D modeling and visualization software and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience crafting and developing experiences for retail, commercial, and/or interactive environments.
- Portfolio of work
Key Qualifications Preferred Qualifications
- Adept at time management and organization and able to work within tight timeframes.
- Experience developing presentation materials that effectively communicate design concepts to all levels of leadership and partners.
- Understanding of creative iterative process.
- Demonstrates Apple's values of inclusion and diversity in daily activities.
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
Education & Experience Additional Requirements Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,900 and $269,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
