Base pay range

$48.00/yr - $55.48/yr

Duration: Contract extensions up to 18 months

Location: Hybrid onsite 1 day per week in Redmond, WA

Pay Rate: $48.00-55.48/hr

Must Haves:

  • Experience working in games teams
  • 5+ years experience within incident management tools and on-call best practices

Plusses:

  • Basic understanding of pull requests process and code commit
  • Scrum or other Agile methodology experience

Position Overview:

An employer in Seattle is seeking a Technical Producer 3. In this role, you’ll work closely with the World’s Edge Engineering teams and their leads, as well as studio product and business teams, to ensure priorities are carefully considered and met. You’ll help define key processes, assess and identify tools and workflows that make the work more efficient, and scope projects and risks to build predictability across multiple technical projects and services.

Purpose of the Team:

The World’s Edge studio is looking for a passionate Technical Producer with experience managing engineering teams with varied skillsets, tech stacks, and objectives. Our ideal candidate is detail-oriented, motivated by working in a fast-paced environment while managing details for multiple projects, and comfortable engaging with highly technical problems that need to be clearly communicated to a wide internal audience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the coordination of technical feature development and maintenance.
  • Act as a critical partner in managing internal and external (or vendor) resources to ensure strong understanding and execution across projects.
  • Maintain regular communication, quality assessments, and progress tracking. Communication practices also include consistent and cadent check-ins with different teams to better understand their individual needs, as well as communicating out to World’s Edge stakeholders and leads effectively via presentations, status reports, and more.
  • Assist in planning, scoping, prioritizing, and scheduling feature development with the technical leads and other key stakeholders. Plan sprints with regular cadence to generate an effective team velocity.
  • Be an advocate for clear and concise technical documentation and communication and champion effective processes across teams.
  • Be a partner to the development lead in all aspects of delivering high-quality technical features.
  • Help ensure software quality levels through coordination and defining best practices.
