About idfive
idfive is an integrated marketing and communications social design agency focused on amplifying the good being done by our clients. We are educators, learners, strategists, analysts, architects, writers, designers, coders, parents, and friends offering creative web, brand, and marketing strategies to advance marketing and communications goals.
idfive is Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) certified as we are a minority and woman-owned and -operated. We do our work with a sincere and operational commitment to diversity and equality within our ranks, with our clients, in our city, and... heck... the world at large.
Our name is the foundation for everything we do. Our work is successful because we embrace informed design as the grounding principle behind every project. Our team is successful because we unwaveringly follow five guiding principles with heart and hustle.
Why do we do it? Because we believe that marketing can be a transformative force for good. And-as a minority and woman-owned and operated studio-we know how much the world needs to be a better place.

- Everyone on the media team at idfive is given a high level of freedom and flexibility, so the candidate must be comfortable with accountability, have high standards for themselves and their work, and demonstrate this ability through experience. We regard innovation and new ideas as essential to our work. We also value integrity, mutual respect, and a strong work ethic. While our working environment is flexible and easygoing, we expect everyone at idfive to work hard and meet deadlines.
- The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, organized, personable, comfortable with a fast-paced, deadline-oriented atmosphere, and well-versed in marketing, advertising, and web development (not a code jockey, no problem). Excellent communication, writing, and problem-solving skills are mandatory. Multitasking and "people skills" are also expected.
- Media certifications - the more you have, the more likely we'll pick you up.
- Applicants must have experience and comfort with managing multi-million dollar accounts and long-term resource planning and allocation. This position requires 5+ years of experience in advertising, media strategy, and/or marketing. Our ideal candidate should also have experience developing and executing successful SEM and SEO campaigns and experience in business consulting and public relations.
- A bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, design, philosophy, math, psychology, anthropology, sociology, or English is not required but a nice one to have. A master's degree in any of the fields above wouldn't hurt, either.
- Meanies, bullies, crybabies, ego-maniacs, and prima-donnas need not apply. If, for some reason, they make it past the interview process and are hired, they will be canned at the first sign of these traits. No joke.
