POLITICO
POLITICO Live is looking for an editorial leader who can bring to life our ambitious expansion of live events. We are seeking nothing less than to convene the most influential voices around the biggest political and policy choices shaping the future of the world - and to expand into new live experience formats and into new geographies to better connect our audiences around the globe.
The Senior Editorial Director is knowledgeable on politics and policy and will develop the content of our live events - from newsmaker interviews to in-depth policy discussions to full-scale summits at the national and international level. This is a unique opportunity to be part of an incredible growth opportunity as we reimagine the way our events resonate inside each room, but also reach greater audiences and have bigger impact outside of the events themselves. Our ideal candidate has a deep knowledge of and interest in politics and policy, is extremely collaborative, is always looking for new and creative ways to push limits, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced news environment. This is a managerial role that oversees a team of producers that work in collaboration with our production and commercial teams.
The Senior Editorial Director reports to the Executive Producer, POLITICO LIVE, North America and the position is based out of POLITICO's HQ in Rosslyn, VA.
What You'll Do:
We are driven by our values. We are relentless contributors, disruptors of the status quo, collaborators, talent cultivators and DEI stewards. Our culture is defined by grit, total integrity and a prioritization on innovation.
