Commercial Lines Producer

with high energy, exceptional communication skills and a strong desire to build a career with our agency and long-lasting relationships with our clients. We are looking for a self-starter who is detail oriented, knowledgeable, confident, and takes accountability for superior customer service. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of proven insurance brokerage sales experience with strong working knowledge of industry resources, benchmarking information and risk management principles. Job Responsibilities Responsible for maintaining and growing a book of commercial insurance property & casualty accounts ($1 Million in revenue). Establish sales development plans to originate business with new clients. Actively generate sales leads through regular prospecting, cold calls, networking, account rounding, and cross selling with other departments. Build rapport and relationships with our clients by providing exceptional customer service through proactive and responsive communication. Understand requirements for new and existing customers; identify and anticipate needs and provide Hylant solutions accordingly. Schedule and conduct sales presentations with potential customers for new business. Manage the client renewal process; identify opportunities to cross sell and up sell based on client needs. Represent Hylant at trade and industry events. Manage negotiations on all commissions and fee arrangements in accordance with standard pricing guidelines (exceptions require management approval). Minimum Requirements High School Diploma (or equivalent) License: Property & Casualty (FL) 3-5 years of prior experience in a Commercial Insurance Sales role Preferred Skills Bachelor’s Degree Areas of Expertise: Executive Liability, Property, Casualty/General Liability, M&A Insurance, Marine, Multi-lines Policies & Middle Market Management & Rating System:
