Robert Half Marketing and Creative is working with a client who is looking to hire a Marketing Content Strategist, you will be responsible for creating, curating, and managing content that aligns with our brand's messaging and marketing strategy. This role requires a creative individual with strong writing, editing, and communication skills who can translate complex manufacturing processes and products into engaging and informative content. You will collaborate closely with the marketing team, sales, and product development departments to ensure the production of high-quality content that resonates with our target audience.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Creation: Write, edit, and proofread content for various marketing materials, including blogs, case studies, whitepapers, social media posts, newsletters, website copy, product descriptions, and video scripts.
- Product Knowledge: Work with product development teams to understand key product features and industry trends, then craft clear and engaging content that communicates these to target audiences.
- SEO and SEM: Implement SEO best practices in content creation to drive organic traffic and improve search engine rankings for relevant keywords.
- Content Strategy & Planning: Assist in the development of a content strategy that supports brand awareness, lead generation, and customer retention efforts. Help maintain an editorial calendar and ensure timely delivery of content.
- Content Distribution: Collaborate with the digital marketing team to distribute content across various channels, including social media, email campaigns, and paid media.
- Brand Consistency: Ensure all content is aligned with the company's brand voice, tone, and values, maintaining consistency across all platforms.
- Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with sales, product teams, and other departments to gather insights and create content that addresses customer pain points and highlights product benefits.
- Industry Research: Stay updated on the latest trends in the manufacturing industry, competitor activities, and emerging content marketing tactics to ensure [Company Name] remains at the forefront of marketing efforts.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 3+ years of experience in content creation, marketing, or communications. Experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus.
- Strong portfolio of writing samples, ideally in B2B marketing or technical industries.
- Knowledge of SEO, content marketing, and digital marketing best practices.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and strategies for content distribution.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
