The Customer Experience & Integrity (CXI) Design team is responsible for addressing critical customer pain points, turning them into delightful experiences. As part of the Fraud team, the Sr. Product Designer will focus on enhancing the consumer-facing fraud user experience. In this role, you'll be crucial in safeguarding the platform from fraudulent activity while ensuring a seamless experience for legitimate users. You'll drive innovative strategies to detect and prevent fraud, reduce false positives and negatives, and create solutions that benefit both user satisfaction and business metrics.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the design of fraud-related features and user experiences, with a strong focus on both user satisfaction and business impact.
• Investigate and deeply understand user journeys to develop strategies and features to detect and prevent fraud.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (research, product, engineering, analytics, and business) to define vision, strategy, and ensure alignment.
• Drive the creation of intuitive, effective fraud detection solutions that make a real impact on Client's platform security and customer experience.
• Focus on creating innovative and effective solutions to minimize false positives and negatives in fraud detection.
• Be a pioneer and take ownership in building a fraud experience design strategy from the ground up.
Required Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience as a product designer or user experience designer.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating a clear understanding of user-centered design principles, interaction design, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proven ability to design complex systems, tackle new challenges, and design for impactful, large-scale product features.
• Business-savvy with an understanding of how design impacts both top-line and bottom-line business metrics.
• Excellent collaboration skills, able to work cross-functionally with product, research, engineering, and analytics teams.
• Experience designing for fraud prevention, risk management, or security a plus.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to defend design decisions clearly.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with consumer-facing fraud user experiences.
• Ability to take a leadership role in a new domain, building solutions and systems from the ground up.
• Familiarity with design thinking methodology and experience driving design from concept to execution.
