OVERVIEW:

SILTT is on the lookout for a Project Designer with a keen eye for detail to join our Corporate Team! Amidst our rapid expansion, we are in need of a professional who can juggle creativity with organization across a myriad of company projects. This ranges from designing new
facilities to creating concept renderings for executive and customer projects, developing our Corporate communications and brand kit, consulting on interior construction, and providing graphic design support to all SILTT teams. If the thought of applying your artistic skills to a

A DAY IN THE LIFE:

As our Project Designer, you'll be the creative powerhouse behind all our ventures. You'll take charge of everything from managing facility design to construction support, developing office layout concepts that optimize efficiency and collaboration, and producing detailed renderings
for project communication. You'll also be on the front line in producing administrative and technical project documents. No two days will be the same, so you'll need to be full of initiative, meticulous in your attention to detail, adept at communicating complex ideas, and have a
burning passion for all things design. Your responsibilities will include:

Crafting design deliverables, such as field surveys, concept design renderings, exhibits, preliminary plans, floor plans, elevations, sections, interior design documentation, schedules, cost proposals, and design specifications to code.
Designing brand elements and templates, original graphic renderings and designs, and various Corporate communications.
Working together on project programming and generating original concept designs as directed by Project Managers and the Executive Team.
Researching project materiality with an understanding of durability and aesthetic qualities, as well as sustainable design considerations.
Carrying out design research from a wide variety of benchmarking sources for ideation.
Producing accurate work in a timely manner, according to project schedules. Your work should demonstrate an understanding of design intent and comprehension of the project budget. Often, you will be the Project Owner and be responsible for project planning, scheduling, action tracking, budgeting, and risk management.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field
5+ years of professional experience in a professional architecture or interior design firm
Certification as a licensed professional is preferred, but not required
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of project design, documentation, and delivery standards, including material selections, and project specifications
Proficiency with Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and SolidWorks
Strong ability to use design and visualization tools including Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator and InDesign) and Canva
Experience and proficiency using Google Workspace

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:
Strong understanding of construction codes, regulations, and architectural principles
Excellent ability to communicate and collaborate with internal and external customers
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Broad graphic design expertise using a variety of digital visualization tools

PORTFOLIO REQUESTED:
Please be prepared to share a portfolio during the interview showcasing a range of interior design projects, 3D renderings, and graphic design work.

ABILITY TO WORK REMOTE:
Partially remote. The work associated with this role is expected to be performed mostly remote, though may be performed onsite in our Leesburg, VA office, and may require periodic travel for onsite support to our other offices and customers.
