Role Description
This is a contract remote role for a Lead Writer at Voahangy's Consulting & Training. The Lead Writer will be responsible for overseeing content creation, developing engaging written materials, managing a team of writers, and ensuring high-quality content delivery on time. The Lead Writer will also collaborate with the consulting team to align content with the company's strategic goals.

Roles & Responsibilities

  1. Define tone, style, and structure of content
  2. Develop and maintain content guidelines
  3. Research industry trends for relevant content
  4. Write, edit, and refine high-quality content
  5. Ensure clarity, coherence, and consistency
  6. Fact-check information for accuracy
  7. Manage and mentor a team of writers
  8. Assign writing tasks and oversee progress
  9. Provide feedback and editorial direction
  10. Collaborate with designers, editors, and stakeholders
  11. Ensure deadlines and quality standards are met
  12. Adapt content for different formats and audiences

Qualifications

  1. Writing, Editing, and Proofreading skills
  2. Experience in managing a team of writers
  3. Content Strategy and Content Development skills
  4. Strong communication and leadership abilities
  5. Experience in academic or biomedical research writing
  6. Ability to work independently and remotely
  7. Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Journalism, Communications, or related field
