This team prioritizes team connection and enjoys creative sessions together. a day in the life The Senior Designer at lululemon creates world-class athletic apparel acknowledged for innovation, design, function, fit, and quality. Under the mentorship of the Design Director, you will create and develop the line from inception to production. You will embed intuitive innovation into each product, blending function and beauty. Design and execute seasonal styles that reflect lululemon’s Women’s Design ethos, maintaining information throughout the season. Combine active product use experience, market knowledge, trend research, and collaboration to create functional, innovative designs. Understand female form and excel in draping and conceptualizing during the design process. Have strong knowledge of machine knitting, yarns, and be involved in sourcing and development with the PD team and factories. Work closely with senior team members and cross-functional partners to create design-informed solutions. Fit styles accurately to communicate design intent, partnering with in-house workshops and pattern-makers. Create knitdowns and stitch layouts for construction details. Collaborate cross-functionally with product development, fit, merchandising, and sourcing to ensure up-to-date information on each style. Work closely with the Raw Material team on yarn and texture development. Maintain attention to detail to build beautiful technical ready-to-wear apparel. Be aware of line performance in stores and lead design meetings to action feedback for continual product innovation. qualifications 8-10 years minimum industry experience required. Expert in yarn sizes, construction, machine gauges, and sweater construction. BA, BFA or BS in Design required (or equivalent). Skilled in hand-sketching and illustration. Proficient in Adobe Illustrator & knowledge of In-Design. Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop, Excel, Word, Mac platform. Compensation and Benefits Package Typical hiring range for this position is from

$116,400-152,800 USD annually ; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity.
