JOB PURPOSE The Senior Marketing and Budget Analyst will make a significant impact in leading reporting and analysis of global marketing and fundraising budgets and performance to drive the revenue needed for achieving World Vision’s global strategy, Our Promise. This includes: Facilitating budget allocation for Global Marketing & Communication’s (GMC) operating and strategic budgets of $15M+ and 100+ staff Aggregating and analysing operating performance versus budget throughout the year, and facilitating agile reallocation of budget to enable GMC to achieve its priorities Calculating return on investment of key initiatives and projects Performance analysis of product lines, marketing channel mix, and donor acquisition and retention Analysis of the global fundraising landscape (World Vision and peers) This analysis and reporting is used by senior management in decisions for budget and operational planning to deliver the necessary revenue to achieve World Vision’s global strategy, focusing on helping the most vulnerable children and their communities overcome poverty in some of the world’s toughest places. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Facilitate and support budgeting and re-forecast process for Global Marketing & Communications. Identify and implement process improvements so there is consistent visibility and process for all budget owners. Manage consolidation, reporting and analysis of Global Marketing and Communications operating and strategic marketing expenditures versus budget. Lead analysis of performance and return on investment in global strategic marketing initiatives. Identify and implement process and technology improvements to convert manual data consolidation into automated approaches. Train, equip, and support GMC budget owners so that they have a clear understanding of their budget, budget status, and their ability to reallocate budget with agility throughout the year. Lead recurring reporting and analysis of results for global products, marketing channel mix and optimization, and lead generation/cultivation strategies. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Marketing, Business Administration or a related field 3-5 years of experience in marketing analytics and budget management Experience with data consolidation and warehousing Advanced Microsoft Power BI and Excel skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Proven ability to present complex marketing or budget analysis in a simple, clear way to drive leadership action Demonstrated ability to navigate uncertainty, build relationships and influence change in a complex, multi-cultural organization COMPENSATION For positions filled in the United States, the typical salary range for this role is $71,800 USD to $95,750 annually, [prorated for a 6-month contract]. Ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, job level, internal equity, and budget.
