Sr Software Development Engineer, AWS Marketing CCTech Become a founding member of a new engineering team for Customer Channels Technology Team! We are seeking experienced tech leaders to lead the next generation of marketing solutions for Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Key job responsibilities
Lead, mentor, challenge and grow other software engineers on the team Develop and define the technical vision and roadmap for the team Collaborate with experienced cross-disciplinary Amazonians to conceive, design, and bring innovative products and services to market. Design and build innovative technologies in a large distributed computing environment and help lead fundamental changes in the industry. Design and code the right solutions starting with broadly defined problems. Work in an agile environment to deliver high-quality software
A day in the life The challenges SDEs solve for at Amazon are big and influence millions of customers, sellers, and products around the world. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about creating new products, features, and services from scratch while managing ambiguity and the pace of a company where development cycles are measured in weeks, not years.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team Able to communicate effectively in English, within technical and business settings
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
