Our Marketing and Communications Team is responsible for: Enhancing the school group’s brand through strategic communications, focusing on expanding awareness and visibility in both new and existing markets. Spearheading grassroots marketing initiatives, leveraging both traditional and digital media to engage prospective families, community leaders, and local stakeholders. Leveraging various offline media, public relations, and grassroots events to build brand and program awareness within the local communities in which we operate. Overseeing the design and implementation of internal communication systems to ensure all staff, leaders, and departments are aligned with organizational messaging and updates. Developing and maintaining best practices for communication and lead conversion within the organization’s customer relationship management (CRM) system. POSITION OVERVIEW: The Vice President of Marketing and Communications for Early Childhood Education Schools will be a visionary leader responsible for driving both new student acquisition and existing student retention/re-enrollment. This role is accountable for generating new student leads and driving the effective conversion of those leads to enrollment. This individual will work cross-functionally to deliver a complete marketing program, implement a new customer relationship management tool, and build an internal communications platform. The Vice President of Marketing and Communications will work to create a strong and consistent brand presence, while fostering meaningful relationships with stakeholders, including parents, employees, and community partners. They will be a catalyst for innovation, continuously improving processes, while maintaining a strong focus on achieving measurable outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute a comprehensive communication strategy that aligns with organizational goals, including both marketing and public relations efforts aimed at new student acquisition, retention, and re-enrollment. Lead the creation and management of both internal and external communications across multiple channels, ensuring consistency, clarity, and effectiveness in messaging. Drive the development of innovative enrollment strategies that integrate communications, marketing, and grassroots outreach to attract and retain students. Collaborate closely with regional directors and school leaders to ensure communication efforts are aligned with enrollment objectives, market trends, and organizational goals. Lead the development of key performance indicators (KPIs) and analytics to track the success of communications initiatives, adjusting strategies as needed to optimize performance. ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: Experience: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related discipline; master's degree preferred 8-10 years in a corporate communications or marketing role, with direct responsibility for driving strategic growth initiatives and public relations efforts 5 years in a leadership role School-based leadership or early childhood education experience a plus Qualifications: Proven track record of success in leading marketing campaigns and managing large-scale communications programs, particularly in an educational, multi-unit, or service-based environment. Experience with both traditional and digital marketing channels, including media relations, content marketing, social media, and public relations. Strong background in lead conversion strategies, marketing analytics, and stakeholder communications. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence diverse audiences, including senior leadership, employees, and external partners. Ability to think strategically, make data-informed decisions, and lead through change and ambiguity.
