Job Title: Audio Visual (AV) Support Specialist
Location: Philadelphia, PA, onsite (5 days per week)
Schedule: 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM (Standard 8-hour shift, may vary)
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Audio Visual (AV) Support Specialist to support conference rooms, large-scale event spaces, and executive meetings in a high-profile corporate environment. This role will be instrumental in building out and maintaining a new conferencing space, ensuring seamless technology support for meetings, events, and executive presentations.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide hands-on AV support in conference rooms, meeting spaces, and amphitheaters.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues in real-time to ensure smooth meeting operations.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by assisting executives, staff, and clients with AV setup and functionality.
  • Support large-scale events and high-profile meetings, ensuring all AV components function flawlessly.
  • Work closely with executives, UI services, and internal teams to optimize conference room technology.
  • Assist in the setup and configuration of new AV equipment as the space is built out.
  • Maintain and support Unified Communications platforms, including Microsoft Teams, Cisco conferencing equipment, and other collaboration tools.
  • Identify and escalate complex technical issues to the appropriate teams when necessary.
  • Maintain an organized inventory of AV equipment and ensure all systems are up to date.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in AV support, client services, or a related technical role.
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn new AV systems and troubleshoot issues.
  • Experience supporting conference rooms, video conferencing platforms (Microsoft Teams, Cisco), and large event spaces.
  • Ability to work onsite five days per week in a fast-paced corporate environment.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, especially when working with executives and high-profile staff.
  • No degree required, but relevant certifications or training in AV technology are a plus.
  • Experience working in large corporate settings and supporting executive staff is highly desirable.
