We are looking for Audio Video Installation Technicians to join our team!
Key Responsibilities:
- Install communication distribution wire according to detailed drawings/ Plan Sites.
- Construction, new build, physical labor, accessing crawl spaces, heavy lifting, power tool operation.
- Set up and wire equipment integral to system operations, ensuring all components are correctly connected and secure.
- Collaborate with Systems Engineers during the startup phase to verify that all system components are fully operational and compliant with project requirements.
- Work with the Project Manager to ensure successful project closeout, including the proper turnover of systems to the client and our service department.
- Conduct thorough testing of all equipment following installation and termination to confirm optimal system performance.
- Adhere to the company’s safety protocols, maintaining the safety of yourself and others at all times.
- Maintain daily communication with the Project Manager, providing updates on project delays, requirements, and general job status.
- Works with Project Manager to oversee the installation to ensure jobs are on track and within project budget
- May include training apprentices on Company procedures, systems and installation techniques
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in system installation and wiring.
- Strong understanding of system specifications and compliance requirements.
- Experience in construction, new build, power tools a plus
- Ability to access crawl spaces, perform heavy lifting
- Ability to work collaboratively with engineers and project management teams.
- Commitment to safety and quality in all aspects of work.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Driving Record meets insurance requirements at all times
Work Environment:
- Primarily field-based with hands-on installation and testing.
- May require travel to various job sites.
- Must adhere to all company safety standards and protocols.
Additional Job Information:
- Timely Documentation: Ensure all Field Service Reports (FSRs), are accurately completed and submitted on time.
- Timecard Accuracy: Complete timecards, and hours. Submit signed timecards by 10:00 am every Monday to the Office Manager and ensure apprentice timecards are accurate and submitted on time.
- Quality Standards: Perform all work according to company standards, employing quality installation techniques.
- Project Budget Compliance: Ensure all jobs are completed within the estimated budget for each phase, including tasks like wire pulling and equipment mounting.
- Team Coordination: Work closely with apprentices and oversee their work to maintain accuracy and adherence to project timelines.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 based on experience
Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 Certified
Expected hours: 40+ per week
