POSITION OVERVIEW

Crunchi is seeking a talented Digital Content Creator who can design and edit social-first content to tell our brand stories and grow our social presence. A strong understanding of the social media design landscape is essential. This position demands the keen eye of a skilled graphic designer and editor who can quickly understand the Crunchi aesthetic and effectively bring our brand storytelling to life. This role will report to the Creative Director.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Trend Insights and Analysis:
    • Keep up with current design trends; including visual styles, color palettes, and typography.
    • Monitor emerging trends on social media, including popular content formats, hashtags, and challenges.
    • Analyze competitor activity to identify successful strategies and areas for improvement.
    • Translate trend insights into actionable content ideas that align with the brand's identity and resonate with the target audience.
  • Content Design and Editing:
    • Gain a comprehensive understanding of the brand's visual identity and tone of voice.
    • Develop engaging graphics, animations, and videos for social media, ensuring they are visually appealing and align with the company's brand identity.
    • Create engaging captions and persuasive copy that augment audience participation and foster engagement based on campaign directives and strategy.
    • Utilize strong design skills as directed to create layouts that are aesthetically pleasing and optimized for different social media platforms.
    • Leverage content editing expertise to produce compelling video content that effectively communicates the brand's message and delivers a captivating narrative.
  • Collaborative Alignment:
    • Partner with Creative and Marketing leadership to understand campaign goals and objectives and ensure consistency in brand messaging and visual style
    • Translate campaign strategies into impactful visual designs that support the overall marketing message.
    • Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate creative ideas and develop innovative content
    • Leverage design expertise to provide insightful feedback and drive campaign success
    • Collaborate with Creative to maintain brand voice and ensure that visual designs cohesively align with the activation calendar.
ROLE QUALIFICATIONS
  • 4+ years of experience in social media design with beauty or wellness brands.
  • Strong typography, design, and video editing skills—ability to bring team’s storytelling to life by creating compelling content that aligns with brand voice and aesthetic
  • Immersed in both graphic design + social media trends and platforms. Full understanding of the Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok landscapes— algorithm, best practices, and a pulse on trending content for creating engaging content
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator,), Final Cut Pro, Canva and similar editing software
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and strategic-minded.
