12 month contract
Must have Bachelors Degree and 5 years experience. Performs low to mid level complexity drafting and design of assembly drawings based on layouts, sketches and blueprints. May include utilization of computer aided design applications.
Supplier drawings
* Receive Supplier drawings - Typically AutoCAD, SolidWorks, ProE
* Convert models/drawings to a Collins acceptable format as required.
* Obtain EP numbers from drawing database and assign to each drawing or drawing set
* Communicate the EP number to the supplier and verify proper application
* Manage supplier equipment drawing repository and updates to drawings for 12 months after commencement of production.
* xClass files as required and document the jurisdiction and classification on each drawing.
* Manage the process for uploading models and CAD files into Teamcenter.
* Process changes to equipment drawings and update Teamcenter. Collins Aerospace/Sundstrand drawings
* Work with engineers to modify/update existing drawings CAD models and drawings (mechanical/Electrical).
* Update drawing database if required.
* Create new models and assembly drawings to document product testing configurations
* Convert selected hand drawings to electronic format
* Manage process of uploading models and CAD files into Teamcenter.
