- Consult and interpret customer needs for the mechanics
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all automotive service and repair matters
- Understand customers' problems and arrange for appropriate service
- Advise customers on preventative maintenance and other services they may need
- Explain proper repair procedures to customers
- Follow company warranty guidelines
- Prioritize required services and offer options
- Set and manage the expectations of the service delivery for both the customers and mechanics
- Regularly keep the customer updated on repair needs, proper procedures, and completion times
- Maintain cleanliness of vehicles
- Assist with minor tech duties
- Assist with vehicle deliveries
- Conduct work through variety of computer system programs
- Assist the salespeople in the care of guests and prepare vehicles for sale
- Maintains customer complaint portal and other administrative duties of the site
- Maintain knowledge of the entire inventory of Easton Motors vehicles
- Utilize customer relationship management software to manage tasks and assignments. AMS system
- Assist with general store cleaning and maintenance, including all public areas, inside and out.
- Maintain cleanliness of lot inventory and move vehicles on the lot to present a positive curb appeal for potential and existing customers. Including Washing, adding gas, snow removal, starting and driving to keep vehicles batteries performing well.
- Process payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures. Performing day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data. Preparing bank deposits
Education:
- Highschool degree or GED preferred but not required
- 1-2 years' service writing experience preferred but not required
- 1 year of general automotive knowledge preferred but not required
- Valid Class D driver's license preferred
