We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Event Visual Designer to join our team. This role will support the Art Director in creating impactful visual experiences for events by designing graphics, managing assets, overseeing print production, and ensuring seamless asset management. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for design, a strong portfolio that demonstrates their skills, a passion for event visuals, and a knack for keeping assets organized and accessible. Essential duties and responsibilities include the following: Other duties may be assigned.

  • Collaborate with the Art Director to design event graphics, including signage, presentations, invitations, and digital assets.
  • Assist in the creation and preparation of visual assets for event branding, ensuring consistency and high-quality execution.
  • Manage and organize digital assets, ensuring files are properly archived, named, and accessible within the company’s asset management system.
  • Support print production processes by preparing files, liaising with vendors, and ensuring high-quality output.
  • Contribute to the development of creative concepts and mood boards to support the overall visual direction of events.
  • Ensure all designs align with brand guidelines and meet the event’s objectives and creative vision.
  • Assist in troubleshooting design challenges and provide creative solutions under tight deadlines.
  • Stay up to date with design trends, production techniques, and relevant technologies to continually bring fresh ideas and efficiencies to the team.

Educational and Skills Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in visual design, with a focus on event design, graphics, and print production.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.), Figma, PowerPoint, Microsoft.
  • Strong understanding of print production processes, large format printing, file formats, and best practices.
  • Experience with asset management tools and systems.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to take direction and provide constructive feedback.
  • Experience in the events industry or related field is a plus.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for visual storytelling.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.

Travel Requirements:

  • Travel is rarely required for this position (0-1 trips per year).
  • Travel will be primarily domestic but may include some international.

Type/Nature of Contacts:

  • External: There is almost no contact outside of Virtuoso staff. Position is primarily internal facing.
  • Internal: Daily contact with Virtuoso staff.
