Prime Video is looking for a world-class Business Intelligence Engineer to help execute against our team’s strategic advertising initiatives and change how advertisers engage with consumers via streaming media around the world.
As a Sr Business Intelligence Engineer on the Ads CX team, you will drive decision-making by transforming advertising data into insights. In this role, you will collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and Program Managers to provide analytical support, using statistical techniques and data visualization tools to uncover patterns and metrics.
You'll be responsible for developing data models, creating dashboards, and delivering recommendations that help optimize advertising strategies and user experiences across streaming platforms.
Key job responsibilities
- Own, design, develop, document, and manage scalable solutions for new and ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, visualizations, and dashboards to support business needs.
- Design and drive experiments to form actionable recommendations. Present to business leaders in both ad-hoc forums and routine business reviews (MBR/QBR) to drive decisions.
- Be able to swiftly prioritize and multi-task based on severity level and strong business judgment.
- Partner with Product Managers, Engineers, and Program Managers to design reports and analyses which answer important business questions.
- Identify new opportunities to improve our Fashion Ads CX on Prime Video based on data insights.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience programming to extract, transform and clean large (multi-TB) data sets.
- 5+ years of SQL experience.
- Experience with theory and practice of design of experiments and statistical analysis of results.
- Experience with AWS technologies.
- Experience in scripting for automation (e.g. Python) and advanced SQL skills.
- Experience with theory and practice of information retrieval, data science, machine learning and data mining.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience working directly with business stakeholders to translate between data and business needs.
- Experience managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $117,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $202,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position will remain posted until filled.
