Essential Duties of the Graphic Artist role include but are not limited to:

  • Graphic Design: Develop high-quality graphics for print and digital media, including brochures, flyers, presentations, social media, email campaigns, and website assets.
  • Brand Consistency: Ensure all visual content aligns with the company’s branding guidelines and maintains a professional, cohesive look.
  • Construction Visuals: Create infographics, assisting with project renderings & site maps, and other visuals to communicate project details and progress effectively.
  • Marketing Materials: Design proposals, reports, advertisements, signage, and trade show materials that support business development and client engagement.
  • Photo Editing: Edit and enhance construction site photos for use in marketing materials and social media.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, project management, and executive teams to develop creative solutions for branding and communication.
  • Software Utilization: Utilize industry-standard design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant tools.
  • File Management: Organize and maintain design files, templates, and digital assets for easy access and future use.

To be successful in this role, a qualified candidate will:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of experience in graphic design, preferably within the construction, architecture, or engineering industry.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat).
  • Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and layout design principles.
  • Experience designing for both print and digital platforms.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment, and the flexibility to adapt to new situations, changes and challenges.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Familiarity with construction industry terminology and blueprints is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of photography and video editing is a plus.
