Your role
GENERAL SUMMARY:
The Audio-Visual Coordinator works under the supervision of the Audio-Visual Manager and collaborates with other team members to plan, coordinate, and execute all facets of AdventHealth corporate and Central Florida Division events and meetings. The Coordinator will assist the Manager with internal events, elements of which include, but are not limited to, event AV operations, pre-production meetings, audio-visual management, and participate in outstanding customer service. The coordinator is responsible for guiding and organizing daily workflow and activities of the AV team to ensure timely project deliveries.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Demonstrates through behavior AdventHealth’s core values of Quality and Service Excellence, Community Well-being, High Ethical Standards, Stewardship, and Inclusiveness.
· Manages coordination of AV needs on-site implementation.
· Works with Event Manager on-site during events to ensure proper AV flow and meet expectations.
· Coordinate vendors and outside technical support if needed.
· Identifies and manages potential AV issues and opportunities that would impact desired experience objectives.
Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
· Proven experience in setting up, operating, and striking live event AV systems.
· Professional presence in communicating and interacting with leaders, diverse populations, team members internally and in the community.
· Excellent time management, verbal communication, and written communication skills.
· Thorough knowledge of audio-visual equipment and its uses.
· Ability to manage multiple projects independently and make appropriate decisions.
· Flexibility and adaptability to change.
· Strong attention to detail.
· Excellent customer service skills.
· Experience with multiple computing platforms (MacOS, iOS, Windows).
· Flexible schedule and some travel required during certain time periods.
· Ability to work collaboratively with others.
· Strong teamwork skills.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS PREFERRED:
· Excellent ability to establish rapport with others and ability to build strong interpersonal relationships.
· Great customer service with positive energy.
· Exhibit good judgment and decision-making skills.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
· 3 years of experience in relevant field.
