JOB DESCRIPTION

SVA’s Creative Internship Program offers students hands-on experience and mentorship with over 50 business partners nationwide. Our clients range from Mayweather Boxing + Fitness and Club Pilates to emerging musicians, boutique fashion brands, and influencers of all sizes. Guided by a team of social media experts, interns gain real-world experience while learning industry best practices, making this an opportunity to elevate your skills and kickstart your career in the digital space.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Collaborate with team and help to develop Social and Digital campaigns from start to finish.
2. Work with the Social Media Manager to ensure projects are carried out through the entire pitch and production process.
3. Focus on developing concepts and executing Instagram feed posts and stories on a range of topics.
4. Create content to post on business and client social media accounts.
5. Be on-site to shoot, photograph, and film content for Instagram and Facebook.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. A plus if you are interested in the beauty industry.
2. Ready to pick up digital projects across the board at any given moment.
3. Interest or skill in photography or videography is necessary.
4. Open to learning and mastering any tools that will build your skills.
5. Open to input and use it to grow.
6. Eager to learn and proactively pick up tasks and run with them.
7. Ability to quickly master our visual brand language and have the motivation and inventiveness to actively participate in its evolution.
8. Strong verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
9. Empathy for our customer and their needs as well as your teammates.
10. Ability to prioritize and balance multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
11. Highly organized with sharp attention to detail.
12. Proficiency with iMovie, Photoshop, or Premiere Pro is a plus.

POSITION DETAILS (PLEASE READ PRIOR TO APPLYING):

1. 6-month commitment.
2. Flexible hours (average 10-12 hours/week).
3. HYBRID: must reside in or be able to commute to Ortega, Jacksonville, FL for content shoots!
4. Must be able to start ASAP.
