Job Summary

As the Director of Content at Integris, you will oversee the entire content marketing strategy, ensuring that all content aligns with marketing objectives and upholds the company’s voice and standards. You will create and maintain a marketing calendar to amplify thought leadership in coordination with integrated marketing campaigns, industry news, and company announcements. You will collaborate with marketing, sales, PR, and technical teams to produce engaging content across various platforms, including blog posts, case studies, whitepapers, abstracts, and social media. Your leadership and expertise in content strategy, SEO, and editing will be pivotal in refining the team's output and measuring engagement. This position requires a proactive leader with a passion for delivering high-quality, well-researched content on technical topics like IT support, cybersecurity, cloud management, and compliance services.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of a content strategy aligned with company marketing goals and business objectives.
  • Manage the content team, ensuring high-quality content that reflects the company’s brand voice and meets KPIs for ROI, lead generation, and engagement.
  • Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to define content themes, objectives, and messaging that support campaigns and initiatives.

Editorial Excellence & Oversight:

  • Ensure all content is on-brand, accurate, well-researched, and optimized for clarity and impact.
  • Maintain editorial guidelines, overseeing content quality produced by internal teams, contractors, and agencies.
  • Manage the content approval process, ensuring efficient workflows and timely delivery.
  • Work with sales, product, technical, and PR teams to develop content that supports key business objectives, like product messaging and customer education.
  • Collaborate with digital marketing, SEO, and social media teams to ensure content is optimized for performance and integrated into broader marketing strategies.
  • Leverage analytics data to refine content strategies and enhance engagement.
  • Oversee the creation of various content types (blogs, whitepapers, videos, case studies) to align with marketing goals.
  • Stay ahead of content trends, incorporating innovative formats like video, podcasts, and interactive content.
  • Repurpose high-performing content across platforms to maximize reach and impact.

SEO & Content Performance:

  • Direct the implementation of SEO best practices to improve organic search traffic and visibility.
  • Use performance tools (Google Analytics, SEMrush, HubSpot) to evaluate content effectiveness and adjust strategies.
  • Implement A/B testing and other optimization techniques to improve content engagement and conversions.

Thought Leadership & Industry Presence:

  • Establish the company as a thought leader by producing authoritative, industry-relevant content.
  • Keep up with industry trends, competitor strategies, and new technologies to ensure content remains innovative and competitive.
  • Drive content integration into the marketing and sales funnel to support demand generation and conversion.

Process Improvement & Scalability:

  • Continuously optimize the content production process, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality output at scale.
  • Maintain a content calendar that balances long-term strategy and short-term goals, aligned with marketing priorities.
  • Implement efficient workflows and tools to streamline content creation and collaboration across departments.
  • Lead and mentor the content team, fostering a collaborative culture and supporting professional growth.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to ensure team development.
  • Encourage a creative, open environment where team members contribute to content excellence.

Job Qualifications

Education/Certification Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field – OR – equivalent experience.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., Content Marketing Institute, HubSpot) are a plus.

Experience Requirements:

  • 8+ years’ experience in a B2B writing or editorial field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years in leading a writing team or managerial role.
  • Familiarity with IT, cybersecurity, cloud services, or similar industries is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of SEO practices and experience with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress or HubSpot.
  • A portfolio showcasing a range of content types and audiences, demonstrating your ability to produce impactful, strategic content.
