This role will work closely with the head of Creator Care to develop a Creator Residency program in Los Angeles. The program will invite ORIGINALS Creators to work from Los Angeles in close proximity to the WEBTOON Team, offering additional professional development opportunities. This position will also bring to life Creator-focused events year-round.
What you'll be doing:
- Organizing programming and travel for ORIGINALS Creators to events like Anime Expo and New York Comic Con.
- Planning event logistics, managing contracts, and coordinating with vendors to create memorable experiences.
- Confidence with working within budget and keeping track of expenses, including expenses submitted by creators.
- Capturing data and content for the post-event evaluation to look for ways the Creator Care Team can improve operations and boost sentiment among ORIGINALS Creators.
- Serve as a point of contact for Creators in the Residency Program and provide resources & guidance throughout their production period.
What we’re looking for:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills as this role will be to organize travel and have face-to-face interactions at events with ORIGINALS Creators.
- Experience in event planning and/or educational programming for people in creative fields.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver on tight deadlines on detail-oriented tasks, specifically related to submitting expense reports.
- Flexibility in high-pressure situations at events.
- An interest in Community Management and the WEBTOON Ecosystem.
- Working knowledge of data management systems and tools.
- Experience with creative communities is a plus.
Salary: $50,000 - $60,000 a year (in USD).
