Position Summary

Responsible for the development and print coordination of collateral materials used in the advertising and marketing of the company’s products.

Responsibilities

  1. Help develop and manage brand standards and messaging
  2. Help ensure brand consistency throughout all marketing projects
  3. Design and produce original multi-platform communications including print, digital, video, web and social media
  4. Review/mentor junior designers' work to ensure consistent, high quality
  5. Help ensure projects/department milestones/goals are met and adhere to approved budgets
  6. Help ensure deadlines are met
  7. Keep up-to-date with industry developments, tools and programs
  8. Meet with clients and design team to determine the scope of a project
  9. Collaborate with design team on project concepts
  10. Design layouts, including selection of colors, images and typefaces (adhering to company brand standards)
  11. Use digital illustration, photo editing software and layout software to create designs
  12. Present designs to design team, stakeholders and applicable teams
  13. Oversee changes recommended by clients or design team into final designs

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, art, design or related field (preferred) or five years of experience in related field
  2. Five years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
  3. Graphic design and layout skills demonstrated by strong Portfolio
  4. Proficient with software tools including Adobe Creative Suite (Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, Lightroom, After Effects)
  5. Exceptional creativity and innovation, with a strong eye for visual composition
  6. Experience with both print and electronic media
  7. Good communication and social skills
  8. Able to give and receive constructive criticism
  9. Attention to detail
  10. Time management and organizational skills to meet deadlines
  11. Photography skills added bonus
