HealthcareIn is a startup digital magazine dedicated to covering the transformation of healthcare and key issues in biotech and innovation. Additional issues include healthcare policy, M&A in biotech, drug development, FDA, novel drug approvals, and more. HealthcareIn has featured interviews with Nobel Prize laureates, leaders of scientific organizations, and many takes on key issues in healthcare.
Note: This is a volunteering position, is temporary and remote, and your contributions will be public (as the author of your published work). This is an opportunity for college students and/or graduates with a strong interest in biotech and the ability to commit to at least 1 article per week to grow their experience in journalism and build a strong portfolio of published articles on our website.
Your work will be subject to our editing standards and editorial practices, must be original, and must be consistently of high quality and relevance to our audience. More information will be provided upon application.
Responsibilities
- Research, write, and contribute weekly articles for our healthcare blog (healthcarein.org). Contributor must be able to write at least 1 high-quality article each week, subject to our editing standards and Editor approval before publication.
Qualifications
- Strong interest in biotechnology and healthcare, as well as business, finance, or entrepreneurship.
- Actively enrolled in an accredited Bachelor's Degree program or higher (or graduate).
- Ability to find fresh and interesting stories within biotechnology and healthcare, as well as have a take on major news stories in biotech.
- Ability to craft strong and compelling headlines and research from reputable sources when necessary.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and enthusiasm for the subject.
This is a volunteering, unpaid, temporary, and remote position for students, graduates, or individuals with strong interests. We reserve the right to publish any work submitted at our discretion.
