Overview:
The Social Media Manager will elevate the Veronica Beard brand across all social platforms through impactful storytelling that resonates with today’s multifaceted woman. This role is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive social media strategy to drive engagement, expand global awareness, and connect to the Veronica Beard audience.
The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of the evolving social media landscape, a proven ability to grow brand engagement, and a discerning creative eye. They thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, are social media obsessed, and have a passion for compelling, trend-forward content.
Responsibilities:
- Data-Driven Strategy: Analyze social media performance using platforms like Dash Hudson, Sprinklr, and Meta to identify growth opportunities. Leverage analytics to inform and refine social media strategies that meet business objectives. Work with Social Media Associate on reporting, offering actionable insights.
- Team Leadership & Collaboration: Manage and mentor the Social Media Associate, ensuring timely content review and reporting. Partner with creative and marketing teams to align messaging, visuals, and campaigns across all platforms.
- Content Creation & Campaign Management: Plan and execute social media campaigns, from in-house content shoots to partnering with content creators. Overseeing that all content reflects the Veronica Beard aesthetic while staying fresh and engaging. Identify and build strong relationships with talented content creators who align with the brand’s vision.
- Social Media Channel Ownership: Define the role of each social media platform in serving the Veronica Beard audience. Develop content franchises and unique strategies tailored to each channel's strengths.
- Cultural Zeitgeist: Know relevant cultural and social media trends, identifying opportunities to amplify the brand’s voice in meaningful ways. Capitalize on viral moments to drive conversation and engagement.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in social media management with a focus on driving channel growth and audience engagement.
- Proven leadership experience in managing organic social media teams.
- Deep understanding of the social media landscape, with a track record of increasing engagement, reach, and brand visibility.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data.
- Storytelling and creative direction skills, with expertise in conceptualizing content that represent Veronica Beard.
- Experience managing social media calendars, executing shoots, and collaborating cross functionally to deliver cohesive campaigns.
- Experience in social media management platforms like Dash Hudson or similar tools for content planning, analytics, and performance tracking.
- Passion for all things fashion and design.
