The Central Fairfax Chamber of Commerce is pleased to offer a space for members and non-members alike to post Announcements, Classified Ads, and Job Postings. Qualifications:

1. Passion for arts
2. Experience being in the commercial dance world is preferable
3. Strong and concise communication skills, both oral and written
4. Well organized with great attention to detail
5. Comfort working in a fast-paced environment
6. Ability to act with diplomacy and patience under pressure
7. Punctual, reliable and dedicated with familiarity in an office environment
8. Knowledge of MindBody Software is a plus
9. Two+ years of customer service and administrative experience required

Description

Do you enjoy making others smile, helping those around you, staying organized and being part of a fast-paced environment? If so, then we may have the opportunity for you.

Main responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Coordinating class schedule and maintaining classes to start and finish on time
2. Managing attendance, accepting payments
3. Working with the community to promote the different dance programs offered at the studio
4. Updating and generating new materials (handbooks & training guides)

Administrative Responsibilities:

1. Managing emails, mail, and telephones
2. Maintaining organizational memberships

This is a ~30 hours a week position with the possibility of making it a full-time position. Monday-Thursday, 4:00 pm-9:00 pm and Saturday, 9:30 am-1:30 pm. There are occasional events on Sundays.

Salary & Benefits

Compensation: Salary commensurate with experience; Health/Dental will be part of the compensation.
