The Opportunity:
As Product Manager in the Future Lab Product Studio, you will lead the development, launch, and scaling of new AI-driven gaming experiences. This role places you at the intersection of Artificial Intelligence and interactive entertainment, helping shape the future of how players engage with a variety of games and play experiences.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to define strategy, manage execution, and ensure the successful deployment of innovative AI-driven gaming products. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise in AI with a strong product management background, exceptional collaboration skills, and a passion for crafting immersive, engaging consumer digital experiences.

What Your Impact Will Be:
- Strategic Leadership: Define the long-term strategic vision and feature roadmap for a new AI-driven gaming initiative within the Future Lab Product Studio, aligning with Future Lab’s mission to pioneer play innovation and achieve Mattel’s bold digital transformation goals.
- Identify and evaluate new opportunities in AI-powered interactive entertainment, leveraging market trends, consumer insights, data analytics, and emerging technologies.
- Product Development and Execution: Lead the end-to-end development of AI-enhanced experiences, from initial development to market launch and beyond. Collaborate with Digital Production, Engineering, Brand Design, Data Science, Legal, and Marketing teams to build and refine AI-powered play experiences. Manage product roadmaps, define key product milestones, and ensure successful delivery of product features.
- AI Integration and Innovation: Partner with technical teams to identify AI-driven opportunities that enhance engagement and interactivity in games. Ensure AI technologies are applied ethically and align with Mattel’s values in child safety, security, and privacy.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with the Director of the Future Lab Product Studio and Mattel’s Global Brand Teams to drive alignment on priorities, resources, and execution. Communicate effectively with executive stakeholders and development partners, providing regular updates on product progress and performance.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize app telemetry, data analytics, and consumer insights to inform product strategy and feature prioritization. Monitor KPIs and use data to make informed decisions that enhance product value and user experience.
Qualifications:
What We’re Looking For:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Product Management, or a related field. Advanced degrees (MS, MBA, or PhD) in a relevant field strongly preferred.
- Experience: 5+ years in product management, with a focus on building and launching new digital products. Proven success in scaling products from concept to market. Experience with AI-driven technologies strongly preferred. Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with technical, creative, and operational teams.
- Skills: Strong product management expertise, including roadmap development and lifecycle management. Experience in go-to-market planning and operational scaling of digital products. Proficiency in Agile methodologies and tools like Jira and Confluence. Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences. Data-driven mindset with expertise in analyzing consumer insights and translating them into actionable product strategies. Passion for innovation, creativity, and delivering transformative play experiences.

The annual base salary range for this position is between $133,600 and $200,000. This range is indicative of projected hiring range, however annual base salary will be determined based on a candidate’s work location, skills and experience.
