Title: Frontend .NET Developer

Location: Salt Lake City, UT (Remote)

Type: Contract

Our client is seeking a Frontend Engineer with ASP.NET experience and a deep understanding of React and JavaScript to join our team. As a key player in the organization, you will play a pivotal role in developing disruptive products for the Real Estate industry, directly impacting the company’s growth.

Key Accountabilities:

1. Develop features and improvements to the Radian products in a secure, well-tested, and performant way.
2. Develop and maintain user-friendly and responsive interfaces for mobile and web applications.
3. You’ll work with Product Management and other stakeholders (Backend, UX, etc.) to iterate on new features.
4. Craft code that meets our internal standards for style, maintainability, and best practices for a high-scale web environment. Maintain and advocate for these standards through code review.
5. Consistently ship small features and improvements with minimal guidance and support from other team members. Collaborate with the team on larger projects.
6. Help improve the overall experience of our product through improving the quality of the Frontend features both in your group and features that benefit other groups.
7. Help identify areas of improvements in the code base, both specific to your group and outside your group (e.g., component library) and help contribute to make it better.
8. Learn, collaborate, and teach other Frontend Engineers.
9. Fix prioritized issues from the issue tracker.

Required Skills:

1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Master’s degree is preferred.
2. At least 4 years of professional experience with Angular, React, React Native, ASP.NET, or another modern JavaScript web framework (Vue, Ember, etc.).
3. Working knowledge of Java, C#, or nodeJS.
4. Understanding of Docker-based applications in a cloud environment.
5. Proficiency in utilizing AI assistant tools such as GitHub Copilot or similar platforms.
6. Experience using Git in a professional / workplace environment.
7. A solid understanding of core web and browser concepts (e.g., how the browser parses and constructs a web page).
8. A solid understanding of semantic HTML, CSS, and core JavaScript concepts.
9. Proficiency in the English language, both written and verbal, sufficient for success in a remote and largely asynchronous work environment.
10. Demonstrated capacity to clearly and concisely communicate about complex technical, architectural, and / or organizational problems and propose thorough iterative solutions.
11. Experience with performance and optimization problems and a demonstrated ability to both diagnose and prevent these problems.
12. Comfort working in a highly agile, intensely iterative software development process.
13. Demonstrated ability to onboard and integrate with an organization long-term.
14. Positive and solution-oriented mindset.
15. Effective communication skills: regularly achieve consensus with peers and provide clear status updates.
16. An inclination toward communication, inclusion, and visibility.
