Key Responsibilities Brand Strategy: Develop and implement a robust brand strategy that aligns with Bronson’s mission, vision, values, and strategic plan. Ensure a compelling and differentiated brand identity. Digital Front Door: Oversee website and intranet effectiveness, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy. Leverage social media for internal and external engagement. Communication Growth Plans: Collaborate with subject matter experts to execute and evaluate communication plans that support growth priorities. Internal & Executive Communications, Public & Media Relations: Develop integrated communication plans to enhance understanding and pride in Bronson’s mission and strategies. Foster media relationships to increase earned and social media support. Partner with executive and clinical leadership on strategic communications and thought leadership content. Serve as a spokesperson, including during crisis communications. Department Operations & Budget: Lead and develop a high-performing marketing and communications team. Oversee project management, media buying, SEO, reputation management, and content production. Manage department budget, ensuring resources align with strategic objectives. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with various departments (HR, DEI, Medical Staff Office, Community Engagement, etc.) to maintain brand consistency. Support employer branding efforts. Performance Metrics: Define and track brand and campaign KPIs to measure effectiveness and refine strategies as needed. Education & Certification Required: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field. Required: Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field. Experience & Knowledge Executive Leadership in Healthcare: At least 10 years in senior marketing and communications roles within healthcare or high-performing health systems. Brand Strategy & Positioning: Experience in brand development, positioning, and multi-market strategy execution. Digital & Social Media Management: Proficiency in web management, social media strategy, SEO, analytics, and performance tracking. Internal & External Communications: Expertise in strategic communication planning, executive and crisis communications, and stakeholder engagement. Media & Public Relations: Strong media relationships and experience as an organizational spokesperson. Departmental Operations & Budgeting: Proven ability to manage marketing operations, project workflows, and budgets effectively. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Employer Branding: Experience in cross-departmental partnerships and employer branding strategies. Key Competencies & Leadership Skills Strategic Vision & Insight: Ability to translate organizational goals into brand and communication strategies. Engagement & Influence: Strong ability to engage internal and external audiences through compelling communication. Healthcare Industry Knowledge: Understanding of physician referral patterns, consumer decision-making, and healthcare recruitment. Manages Ambiguity: Adaptability in handling digital and media shifts, crisis communications, and performance-based adjustments. Team Leadership: Ability to develop, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team. Accountability & Results-Driven: Ensures resource allocation aligns with strategic priorities and maintains performance-driven execution.
