Job Description:
• We are seeking a Vice President of Media Relations to lead and execute strategic communications initiatives that bridge corporate and consumer storytelling.
• This role emphasizes the future of earned media in a dynamic landscape, requiring collaboration with senior executives to shape owned and earned strategies.
• The ideal candidate will develop and implement comprehensive communications strategies to build brand reputation, achieve business objectives, and lead a team of professionals in delivering impactful media campaigns.
Required Skills:
• Over 12 years of experience in media relations or a related field.
• Strong understanding of corporate and consumer storytelling.
• Expertise in crafting and executing effective media strategies with measurable results.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor a diverse team across various client categories, including travel, financial services, lifestyle, consumer tech, fashion, and beverage.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation and curiosity.
• Outstanding judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with integrated corporate and consumer communications strategies, brand partnerships, and event activations.
Desired Skills:
• Skilled in creative storytelling with a strong focus on visual elements.
• Demonstrated success in building media relationships and delivering high-impact programs.
• Experience managing multiple projects and adapting quickly to shifting priorities.
• Background in public relations agency work is strongly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
Compensation:
Pay Salary:$180000-$220000/Year
