Purpose of Position

- Oversee internal and external communication activities for Securitas Technology Global and North America.
- Partner and collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization to drive communication strategies that support business objectives; identify themes, topics and content that will resonate with target audiences, while identifying and navigating through potential risks.
- Partner and design clients communications strategy and materials.
- Design and execute integrated communication strategies for a variety of business initiatives; educate and inform teammates, drive engagement, change behavior where required, deliver business results and cascade messaging throughout the organization.
- Ensure all communications are consistent and aligned with Securitas Technology's practices, brand standards, and support one Securitas voice and the globalization agenda.
- Prepare written internal communication materials including business communications, organizational announcements, leadership communications, reports, presentation slide decks, integrated communications plans, scripts, press releases, Town Halls, etc.
- Responsible for the PR strategy, manage participation, messaging for media interviews related to Securitas Technology and experience in crisis communications.
- Manage participation and submission to the industry's most relevant awards, ensuring our position as a leader in the electronic security industry.
- Demonstrate results through metrics/reporting to measure impact of work to highlight how communications are driving business outcomes, brand awareness, and engagement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in communications, ideally as reporter and copywriter.
- 5+ years of related work experience.
- Has proven leadership skills with ability to inspire commitment from teams and leaders across functions.
- Demonstrates strong ability to identify opportunities for synergy across projects and business units and influence decisions without direct authority across organizational boundaries
