The UCPath Center manages the payroll, benefits, and other human resources transactions for more than 200,000 UC employees working across ten UC campuses, six medical centers, three national labs and more. Learn more about the UCPath Center Position Summary The Instructional Designer and Trainer is responsible for instructional design and delivery of a blended training program on various subjects including using supported software and professional development.

Key Responsibilities 30% Designs, develops and implements digital training materials (e.g. animations, interactive elements, simulations, video, etc) 30% Designs and delivers tailored training for each audience group through facilitated instructor-led sessions, web-based courses or other delivery methods. 20% Researches, reviews and validates content with appropriate subject matter experts and stakeholders, incorporating feedback and managing iterations, as required. 20% Works with functional and technical subject matter experts to translate knowledge and processes into course content. Experience Required Qualifications Min 5 years related experience and /or training Skills and Abilities Required Qualifications Experience designing, developing, and maintaining end user training. Demonstrated successful delivery of instructor-led training and group facilitation. Customer-service focus with demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate at all levels of the organization. Able to prioritize in complex, fast-paced work environment. Attention to detail and ability to coordinate multiple tasks, set priorities and meet deadlines. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel). Problem-solving skills with the ability to exercise integrity and sound judgment in ambiguous situations. Experience in instructional design and development using screen recording and course authoring software such as Camtasia, Articulate or similar software. Strong analytical and organizational skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience in instructional design and development using Oracle User Productivity Kit (UPK). Experience working with a customer relationship management (CRM) tool, such as Salesforce.
