Position Summary:
Talented and versatile Art Director to join the Marketing team, with an emphasis on Photography and Videography. A skilled professional who can manage and execute photo and video projects from concept to completion, working with internal and external teams. The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of brand marketing and will bring expertise in creating distinct and engaging visual content to elevate the presentation of the company’s multiple brands. This role will support our omnichannel national marketing strategy and brand-building initiatives through photography and videography, for ecommerce, digital marketing, social media marketing, campaign execution support, and interactive experiences. Specifically creating ecommerce content for Amazon and Shopify to include in-house video and graphics. We are looking for a problem solver, skilled communicator, and artist at heart. Must have experience with consumer products. Agency experience is a plus.
Team Structure:
Reports to the Chief Marketing Officer. Works closely with Ecommerce, Marketing, Communications, Brand Strategist, Research, Social Media, and Graphic Design.
Responsibilities Include:
· Product Photography and Videography:
Create stunning product imagery for use across a variety of channels. Develop unique and tailored looks for each product line, ensuring that each product’s identity and target audience are effectively represented.
- Prop Sourcing & Styling:
- Have a strong eye for selecting complementary items, backgrounds, and textures that align with each product line’s branding and narrative.
- Brand Consistency:
- Maintain a deep understanding of the various product lines' branding and messaging.
- Post-Production & Editing:
- Edit and retouch photos using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, etc.) to ensure images are polished and meet brand and platform standards.
- Studio & Video Shoot Management:
- Set up and manage the in-office studio, lighting, and background elements. Execute off-site shoots as needed. Ensure that deadlines are met within the established budget.
- Project and Asset Management:
- Manage requests and processes with internal and external teams with respect to content creation. Manage asset libraries accordingly.
· Stay on Trend:
Keep up to date with industry trends in photography, styling, and visual storytelling.
· Travel:
Attend on-location photoshoots, video shoots, industry trade shows, events, sales meetings, and presentations as necessary.

Job Qualifications/Requirements:
· BA in Graphic Design or related field
· 5+ years of relevant work experience
· Must have experience with consumer products
· Agency experience is a plus
· Expert level Adobe Creative Suite knowledge
· Experience with product (CPG) photography / videography
· Experience with prop sourcing and styling
· Knowledge of eCommerce and social media content creation best practices
· Ability to work both in studio and on-location settings
· Ability to manage a project from connect to completion with attention to detail
· Experience with project management software (Mondays, Jira, etc.)
· Contribute to a positive, collaborative work environment
Reports To: Chief Marketing Officer
Status: Exempt
Department: Marketing/Ecommerce
Schedule & Location: This position works a Hybrid Flexible schedule working four days at the Irvine location: Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays; and working remote Fridays. Normal business hours are 8:00 am to 5:00pm Mon – Thurs and 8:00am – 3:00pm on Fridays.
Please note: The remote work privilege may be canceled at the discretion of the company at any time with reasonable notice of not less than 15 days.

Compensation Starting Range for Base Salary: $100,869 - $110,036
