Job Summary Job Description Work with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders to identify, define, and design solutions to improve the customer experience and create engaging solutions to drive business results. CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Partner with engineers, product managers, and other designers to lead product design through the entire development lifecycle. Collaborate cross-functionally and contribute to the design of useful, usable, and desirable user interfaces in a team environment. Create user-centered designs by considering market segment analysis, customer feedback, site metrics and usability findings. Apply understanding of business needs and communicate vision to senior stakeholders. Present design work to the product team and stakeholders for review and feedback. Design the visual style, interface, and interaction flow of applications and experiences. Develop conceptual diagrams, wireframes, visual mockups, click-throughs and prototypes. Develop and maintain detailed user-interface specifications and design patterns. Mentor, coach, and lead projects. Education Bachelor's degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or equivalent professional experience. Relevant Work Experience At least 4 years of experience as a user experience designer, interaction designer, hybrid designer, or similar role. Additional Qualifications Experience using research and analytics to inform design. Experience applying best practices for mobile design, usability principles, and techniques. Experience working with peers and cross-functional team members from inception through implementation. Experience demonstrating industry best practices in interaction design, usability and accessibility, and scalable, dynamic web and app interfaces. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience in web and mobile architecture. Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies. Experience creating user-centered design solutions represented by a portfolio of work. The anticipated salary range for this position: $110,240.00 - $165,360.00 Annual The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold. Our benefit package includes health insurance, life and disability, 401(k) contributions, paid time off, etc., for employees working 30 or more hours per week on average.
